I met my first husband using dating sites. The first time we chatted was very exciting. I was not new to dating sites but he was. So, our first conversation was really his first lesson in the science of dating sites. We talked for hours about the important things in life. We also talked about a few of the unimportant things in life. It did not take long before we realized that we both loved astrology. We did not depend on it for everyday life but it was definitely an interesting hobby. He was a Libra and I am a Scorpio. We were not the best astrological match but we liked each other just the same. Many times, while we were online together, we would look up our horoscopes at other sites and send them to each other. I guess it is not exactly the most romantic thing we could have done together but we enjoyed it. It gave us something to do once we got bored with the dating sites. We also loved learning about numerology together. We were not a numerological match either, but we still had fun learning about it and learning a little bit about what the numbers had to say about our personalities. I guess we really were not a match in any way except for our common interest in astrology. I saw a TV show yesterday about speed dating. I though it was kind of funny. I can you tell if you want to date somebody by just spending 5 minutes with them asking questions? When doing this sort of thing, you can be acting yourself because your going so fast. speed dating could be for some people I guess if they have experience in dating, because then they can kind of know what that person is like in about 5 minutes.
